Rollcentre Racing BMW M3 V8 drive available for the Dunlop 24hr at Silverstone.

Capture

Drive available in the Silverstone 24 Hour race in the ex Mark Poole Richard Abra racing BMW. This car won the 2012 24 Hours overall, a remarkable achievement against GT3 machinery. Its now owned by racer Richard Neary, who has commissioned Rollcentre to run the car for him at this race, and for selected races throughout the year.

The car was raced by Richard and Martin Short (who will be part of the driving team in the 24) at the end of 2014 in Britcar, and gained 2 x 2nd place results first time out after a 2 year layoff. The car is going through a full rebuild, including engine, gearbox, differential, driveshafts, bearings, bodywork etc etc. Its a top to toe job.Capture1

The car has a 500+bhp M3 V8 Engine, Sequential Gearbox, Paddleshift, Traction Control, ABS and good Aerodynamics. The wiring loom has a Programmable Relay System, and the car cost in excess of £150k to build. The images below show the car from 2014. Its now being fitted with Centrelock Wheels to speed up pit stops, the fuel tank and pumps and pipes have been serviced, and it benefits from Servo assisted brakes.

Its incredibly easy to drive, and very roomy, with adjustable seating position.Capture2

Richard is looking for funded drivers who ideally have competed in 24 Hour races before, and have a good pedigree of bringing the car home, whilst not necessarily being the next Tom Kristensen! But if its your first 24, then we have the knowledge to get you up to the requirements needed for a successful race.

If you think this is you, then please contact Richard directly
