Apologies for delayed Silverstone write-up

A number of people have asked for the weekend write-up to be published by Britcar for the first round at Silverstone. We apologise for the delay, but our well recognised and respected reporter Peter Edwards was taken ill on the Thursday before the event and was unable to attend.

The Checkered flag have write-ups already published as I am sure you are aware. They are also in the process of creating a weekend write-up for us, which will be posted on our site as soon as it is completed.

The Checkered flag will supply a journalist to each round to do the write-ups whilst at the event, so that they can be loaded immediately onto the website.

Furthermore, some people have asked for the championship points to be placed on the website. I will kindly direct you to competitors/championship points – then your allocated race/2014, as posted Monday.

I hope this rectifies people’s concerns and once again apologies for a late write-up.
