JENSEN Motorsport confirms its full entry into the Britcar Endurance Championship for 2014.
As the highest points scoring independent Chevron GR8 GT team in the UK in 2012 Jensen Motorsport has today confirmed its entry into the 2014 Britcar Endurance Championship following the team sabbatical in 2013 due to driver Jensen sustaining a broken leg in a skiing accident. Jensen Motorsport who finished with the most points of all runners in Britcar Class 4 in 2012 have many upgrades planned for the teams GR8 GT car over the next few months.
The Hampshire based team are already well underway with the winter rebuild of their Chevron GR8 GT car at their factory in Hampshire, and now with the re-signing of long term team partners Capital Compactors are all set for the season ahead.
The car design is also set to be radically different from previous years with the introduction of a new design concept from StudioJQ as this seasons’ livery designer, the designs due to be released soon should be as dramatic as the cars expected performance with a whole new drivetrain and power plant planned and already well into development.
The team drivers will remain the same as 2013 with Jensen Lunn & Alistair Lindsay, as a strong pairing with many hours of testing together in 2013 the driver duo should be a strong force this season.
The team also continues its association with CEMAST and the new automotive excellence centre in Hampshire, and will continue to support Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, as our very worthy chosen charity.
More news and updates will be available soon on the teams 2014 web-site www.jensenmotorsport.net
