Silverstone 24hr Race
Whilst we appreciate how passionate people are about the 24 Hour race, some over-enthusiastic “fans” have taken to emailing parish councillors involved in the decision making about the Silverstone 24 Hour, with derogatory and rude comments. We in no way support such actions and ask that members of the public do not do this and refrain from posting similar remarks on-line, as it does not help in our discussions with the council regarding bringing the race back in 2015.
The people of the village are entitled to protection from things that can change or disturb their environment and personal attacks are not going to help them consider proposals in a fair and balanced way.
If you are a true fan of the race, please allow us to approach the matter with the councillors without making the discussions more difficult than they need to be.
